Lace, Grace & Gears Rally
The Lace, Grace and Gears® motorcycle rally was born of an idea to set a world record for the largest gathering of women motorcycle riders in one place. In April, 2016 the record was set in Australia when 1,002 women set the record in Dubo. The first LGG was held in Beaumont, TX in 2016. The event was a tremendous success and planning soon started for LGG 2017!
LGG brings many opportunities for women riders:
- Celebrate a unique sisterhood that spans all ages, economic circumstances, life experiences, careers, and riding preferences. We welcome all women bikers and riders; whether they ride on the front or back seat of a motorcycle.
- Bring about an awareness of women motorcyclists in the biking world in terms of their buying power, riding gear, and motorcycle adventures.
- Give a voice for the collective concern about motorcycle safety and break the stereotype image of female bikers – we are wives, mothers, sisters and daughters.
Lace, Grace and Gears® hopes to draw more thousands of bikers to Bandera in September to enjoy a four-day event-with rides, bands, bike contests, bike accessories, bling gear, mechanical bulls, skeet shooting, scavenger hunt, comedy and so much more!
Now in its second year, we believe that Lace, Grace and Gears® will become an annual tradition as we slowly grow each year. Our goal is to become Sturgis for women!
