Women Take the Industry By Storm

  • 25% of motorcycle purchases are made or highly influenced by women
  • 12% of motorcycle owners in the US are women (a 28% increase in the last five years)
  • 1 in 4 motorcycle riders (including passengers) are women
  • 6.7 million of the 27 million motorcycle owners in the US are women (Data from a 2012 Motorcycle Industry Council Survey)

A 2013 survey conducted by Kelton and commissioned by Harley-Davidson found that women riders are happier than women non-riders:
